Clear before you check.
How much does my document cost?
The workspace shows the exact credit charge before submission. A 1,200-word document uses 2 Quick credits or 20 Deep credits. Reference and quotation exclusions affect the overlap calculation, but not the submitted word count used for billing.
What happens if the check fails?
Failed and canceled scans return their reserved credits. Partial reports show unfinished work. If a Deep scan finds candidates but cannot retrieve any full text, it returns a snippet-only partial report and the charge falls to 2 credits per started 1,000 words. A completed Deep search with no candidates retains its Deep charge.
Will zero overlap mean my writing is original?
No. It means the check found no supported overlap within the sources and search budget available. Unindexed, private, paywalled and unavailable sources may not be checked.
Can I try it first?
Verify your email to claim one free Quick credit. Each account can claim the trial once. The trial works for an English document of up to 1,000 words.
How long are reports kept?
Submitted text, source evidence and reports are private and automatically removed after 30 days. You can delete a scan earlier. Keep a downloaded report if you need it later. Financial records are retained for billing reconciliation.
Are purchases refundable?
Contact support for eligible unused-credit refunds under our refund policy. Refunded purchased credits are deducted. If they have already been spent, new checks pause until the resulting credit debt is resolved.
